Stellar debut - I can't stop listening!, December 5, 2000
This review is from: 100% Human (Audio CD)
This debut CD by Pocket Size is simply amazing - Liz and Darren have put together an amazing tribute to everything pop. The lyrics, the melodies, the rhythm and the accompaniment is superb. I am blown away by how utterly beautiful some of these tracks are! I have shared this album with countless friends who have found it irresistible after a few listens!
I have to admit however, I did not groove on the album the first round. A few retailers were doing a "buy an Everything But The Girl CD and receive an up and coming artist for free". It certainly worked for me, even though I didn't buy the package, I certainly bough them separately to show my support of Atlantic and the artists they support.
Some highlights on this album: 100% Human - tremendous pop. My favorite song on this album: Know Nothing. Stunning! Walking is great, Death of Me superb! I can go on and on...If you do nothing else this year, try this album out!

Listen to this over and over and then still new months later, May 2, 2005
This review is from: 100% Human (Audio CD)
We've really loved this album though we can't remember how we got it. This is such feel good, pop, fun music showing such great talent from the artists. It picks me up and makes workouts, parties and car rides upbeat and interesting.
We had it in the car CD changer for a month several months ago and now I am on the hunt for it again!

strangely beautiful, January 19, 2000

Strangely beautiful pop. Behind the haunting pop melodies lies a rare musical eclecticism and a profoundly innocent yet disturbing song writing ability only seen before from the likes of Brian Wilson. I recommend it!
