About the Author

Dr Chap Attwell MPH, NYU School of Medicine teaches in the Department of Psychiatry and works as the co-director of medical student mental health at the NYU School of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Attwell has completed his adult psychoanalytic training at NYU Psychoanalytic Institute at NYU Medical Center, where he also continues to study as a senior candidate in the child psychoanalytic program. He holds the title of Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and primarily pursues his passion for psychiatry and psychoanalysis in his private practice in New York City, where he lives.

This is the best and most practical book I've ever read about anxiety. By page 3 it gave me several new, useful, insights about myself, loved ones and patients I see every day. As a non-psychiatrist, but practicing physician, my understanding of anxiety disorders was improved instantly, and in plain English.
