Nice Brown Tie but wayy too long for a kids neck. If you purchase this make sure you (if you have a small neck) or your kid can tie a double windsor

The other reviewer is right--the material is not very thick, but the tie looks substantial and has a good saturation and sheen. It's a nice-looking tie, especially considering the price and the fact that so much menswear right now is blue/green, meaning this color will be useful.On minor thing: if you're short (5'8" or under) the tie will be a little long for you and in order to balance the tip at your belt buckle you'll end up with a relatively thick knot like I do. I'm 5'8" and, knotted right, the skinny tip is slightly longer than the face of the tie. I haven't had this issue with other ties from The Tie Bar so it might just be a quirk with this tie.

Kind of a cheap feeling silk tie. Looks fine though. Ties nicely. Not the softest tie I've felt, which is surprising as it is made of silk.
