Works well, I got it because delivery people at night couldnt find my home. I just leave directions look for flashing light on garage.

I bought this light control because it's one of the few that works with CFL's. Basically this is junk. I bought three of them for outside lights and two of them stopped working after one week. The light will stay on during the day. I can reset it by turning the switch off then waiting ten seconds then turning it back on but the next morning the same thing happens.
The third one is working normally which is the only reason I didn't rate this one star. Ironically it's hooked up to a 150watt output CFL so no idea how it's working normally with that much light overhead.
If I could I would return all three and just change out my porch lights with one that have a built in eye.

There are times when you need an ambulance or other emergency vehicle. This out of door insert into a lamp will help identify your home faster, because the light converts to a flasher at the flick of a switch. It may save minutes and a life. It is not for use for the Pizza delivery person, but as an emergency identification.
