This reader-friendly little volume hits the mark in today's trying times. It reminds us that it is the little deeds of everyday living that add up to make a great society. Each reader will surely discover several actions he/she practices and several more he/she can do in the future to enrich the fabric of American life. Readers of almost all ages can relate to the ideas articulated by Ms. Lee.

This is a very helpful book for all those that are looking for some way to make a difference. You don't have to go out and do something huge to make a difference. Give someone a few cents if they're short in the checkout line, especially if it's a child. Say hello to someone. Wish a teller, clerk, cashier, etc a good day with a smile. Tell someone they did a good job, or you like their necklace, shirt....

You get the idea.

This book is the right size to take with you on commutes, or to the dentist or doctor's office to read while in the waiting room.

It's a quick, easy read for those that like the feeling of accomplishment at having read a whole book somewhat quickly. It's a good book to read with your child, or let your child read to you.
