I received this "100 Years of Chevrolet" at an authors' signing yesterday in Michigan. This "book" is more of a book than any I've owned. The history is extremely detailed, and the reproduced documention from GM is amazing. The pictures are printed and attached to the pages as you would in a photo album. There are "Stock certificates", memorandums, letters, etc reproduced on the same color and "type" paper used at the time and inserted in the book in envelopes. This is a book you have to touch, see and read. Hope you enjoy it. (Will try to post pics)

It's a very nice commemorative piece. Interesting insights into the brand's history as well as neat "pull outs". Packaging befits the contents...definitely a must for Chevy fans and fans of industry history. It's been a long wait for the book, which should have been released closer to the anniversary.

I may not be the first Chevy lover on my block to buy this volume, but I am probably the happiest. This is a quality product, hard-bound on good paper, with several dozen inserts that are joys to read, in themselves. Everything about this Automobile Quarterly product is quality (but there are a few editing mistakes still to be corrected). I am completely satisfied, especially when the price is what I paid Amazon to get it to me. I think I have sold a half dozen other Corvette club members on getting their own, after they saw mine.

100 Years of Chevrolet in most cases is a very well written book with a whole selection, by decade, of the various car advertising.

The biggest weakness of the book that it ignores such much models as the Imperial Landau Sedan of the late '20's abd spends a little too much time dwelling on particular models of the past 40 years. The author should done a more detailed analysis of the Chevrolet's complete history instead of a smooth glossed over history. Something along a more upto date analysis patterned after Bev Kimes' "Chevrolet Since "1911" or something more in the style of Crestline's "Seventy Five Years of Chevrolet:.

This is a fantastic book. It contains far more historical information than I was expecting, and it is very well put together, especially for the average person. This was a gift for a married couple that my girlfriend and I are good friends with. They just became citizens so we decided to get them some "Americana". This, and three other items, the Uncle Sam "I Want You" poster, an apple pie we bought for them at QFC, and a Major League baseball and plastic case we bought here. My girlfriend and I signed the baseball for them. About a week after giving it to them, we went over to their house. It was my first experience with the book, and I was so impressed with it that I went and bought another one for myself. This is simply a fantastic book.

Great book on The Bowtie,Beautifully laid out in the style of "Vault" type/style of books(Example:Marvel Vault,DC Vault,Batman Vault,Etcera.) With Replica/Reproduction Brochures/MiniCatalogs and other memorabilia to correspond with the years,Not every model is going to be featured which Is not any fault of the Authors/Contributors As they did an Excellent Job,Ralph Kramer, John Durnell(RIP)and Gerald Burton(Jerry Burton who did the Beautiful Corvette Books and Zora Bio.)I would have liked to have seen the Corvette Centennial in an huge spread but this book came to press to close to call and there is an small at the start of the book.Chevrolet's Heavy Duty Trucks Long Ignored and Forgotten by some(Class 8 Big Rigs Such as the Chevrolet Bison and Chevrolet Titan 90/Titan and Bruin, even though the names are included on the cover with the other names of different Chevys, they are not mentioned, but the trucks were not as Popular or widespread as the GMC counterparts and it's an reason why it can be overlooked.)The book is very elegant, beautiful layout and photos and well-written and edited. The Binding is delicate but that is to be expected for such an Gem and an visual treat and good read.

As a Chevrolet enthusiast of many years and owner on no less than 5 but now models I wanted the book as a collector and history of the Chevrolet to add to my other books etc. Tried to buy direct from the Chev 100 promotion but would not accept my purchase outside of the US so after some searching found the very book on amazon. Grabbed it thinking got the book but on arrival full of surprises with copies of actual documents throughout the years. Value for money excellent and any Chev fan must be very happy to add this to their selection.
