100-cigar Humidor Cherrywood with Glass Top

I have written knowledge that they shipped and sold me a BROKEN humidor. The bottom was clearly busted and when I asked for a replacement I was informed that it was still in workable condition. I did not agree to buy nor do I want a BROKEN but usable humidor. The only other solution they offered was a 10% credit to their store. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PATHETIC COMPANY. I will be turning them into the better business bureau.

This is a very nice looking humidor, much better than what the pictures show. Inside is very roomy, and it comes with a good instruction booklet.

Problem is, it doesn't work that well. The included humidifier didn't seem to maintain consistency, and my cigars were drying out fast. I bought a DryMistat humidifier, and it worked much better, but I think the seal isn't tight, as the humidity fluctuates a good deal.

Good for smokers who only keep a few cigars on hand, and don't mind them drying out, but you may want to look at an alternative if you really want to keep cigars for a long time.

My humidor came with a chipped corner on the lid and they replaced it with particleboard (cardboard), and then when I left a bad review because they are responsible for their product, they got mad at me--saying about returning, but unfortunately I didn't "have the time" to deal with that, just like they didn't "have the time" to check their product.

After they emailed me BEGGING Me to remove their bad rating, I did, because I didn't want to deal with them anymore. Then they stopped emailing me when I had further questions, because they got what they wanted. So I'm leaving this review here

DO NOT BUY FROM CHEAPHUMIDORS unless you feel like arguing.

Other than that, great value, and for the price I shouldn't complain because its keeping my cigars nice and fresh

this product provides great storage and also looks great.. its not hard to set up, and keeps humidity levels at a variable 60-80%. I DO RECOMMEND!!!!

The humidor itself is nice. It does hold humidity fairly well. I did have to make a few adjustments, such as tightening screws and hinges. The included hygrometer on MY humidor is strictly for looks, and mine wasn't adjustable. I am not sure if my hygrometer was a dud or if all of them are like this. There were instructions with the humidor on how to adjust the hygrometer so i assume it was meant to adjust. I did the salt test and the needle didn't budge, it stayed at a steady 40%. At my local smoke shops walk in (Humidor) didn't budge either.

The glass top is great and the main reason i bought this particular humidor. It was affordable and looks great on my shelf. The hygrometer and lock on the front give it an expensive look and most importantly my cigars smoke perfectly.

Update- After owning this humidor for a little over a month the wood has swelled around the screws causing the lid to break. I had issues with the screws before i even seasoned the humidor and seasoning it finally did it in. It did keep my cigars in great shape and did look good, it's unfortunate that this has broken.

My wife bought me this humidor for my 26th birthday and I love it! It's quite a bit bigger than I was imagining, but still small enough to fit well on top of my dresser. The cherrywood is very classy looking and the glass top seems quite solid.

The directions for seasoning the humidor are a little vague if, like me, you have zero experience with humidors. I took it to my local cigar shop just to make sure I was doing it right. The owner said to buy distilled water (regular water will leave mineral deposits) and fill both the humidifier (don't put it in the humidor overflowing, just tilt it over the sink after filling to drain off any excess then wipe the top off with a rag) and a small, shot glass size container of distilled water. Finally, take a clean cloth and dampen it with the distilled water water then wipe down all the interior surfaces of the humidor including the tray. People disagree over this last step with some saying it warps the wood, however I did it and it worked great...I think it would only warp it if you soaked the interior rather than just making it damp.

Finally, the analog hygrometer on the front looks really nice, but they are notoriously inaccurate. Spend the extra $15-$20 and buy a digital hygrometer. The difference between my digital and analog versions is about 10-12%...pretty significant. Remove the shot glass of distilled water once your digital hydgrometer reads 70-75% (24-48hrs). At this point you should be set. I've found that to maintain that humidity level I have to refill my humidifier about once every two weeks.

So far it has been working like a champ. Great humidor, great price. My only complaint is that the packaging was a nightmare. My wife had ordered my some accessories and the box came partially opened revealing a ridiculous attempt by someone to smash the accessories on top of the humidor when it obviously didn't fit. The result was that it broke a jar of humidifying crystals and chipped the edge of my humidor. Annoying!

I purchased this from Amazon. The picture was quite different from the product itself. Furthermore, it was damaged (perhaps in transit) when I opened the package. I believe this was primarily due to poor packaging in the first place.
Lastly, I had to pay duty on it when I recd it (in India). Amazon should ensure that they have these costs included in the overall pricing on their site, since the duty was over 40% of the cost of the Humidor itself.
Overall, I am very disappointed with the process since I have always had good experiences on my purchases at Amazon.

Very pleased with the quality and "heft" of the product. No scratches, carefully well packaged. Just looks good! Solid glass is beautiful. The bottom is fully lined with felt so it won't scratch any table you show it on. It looks like it will last a long time.

Picture does not do it justice; I think the picture is the 50 cigar unit. Actual unit is taller, and a great cherry finish (more red than picture). Arrived in perfect condition. Top has a great seal. Hygrometer is glass and metal, not plastic, but you will be buying a digital hygrometer as well, right? Two movable cedar dividers in bottom, one in tray. All interior, tray, and dividers are cedar. Large rectangular humidifier with optional magnetic mounts. Since you are not mounting the humidifier on the inside of the lid, positioning it in the full humidor can be a problem. For this reason I might go without the glass top, but I like seeing my fine cigars inside and a quick glance to a digital hygrometer (purchased separately).
If this is your first humidor purchase, many people recommend a 100 cigar size. And you can't beat the price and quality of this humidor!

Quality construction and it maintains humidity perfectly. Can't beat the price for a humidor of this size, but I would recommend getting a digital hygrometer such as Caliber III Thermometer Hygrometer. Analog hygrometers are more for show than for giving accurate readings.
