The NX-01 is one of my favorite ships in the star trek universe. This model dissapointed me on the level detail, but, I was happy with the size of the model and I was happy with the quality of it. Although I think that it needs to be a skill level 2 because of the small pieces(I lost a piece for 3 days before I found it. All in all I would not give 5 stars due to detail but I give it a good 4 stars.

Let me just get the Bad out of the way...TINY, TINY, parts. Hard to put together because of how small the parts are. Even painting them was rough.. The Warp Engines would not stop falling off, and wouldn't snap tight. I just super glued the darn thing's on, which I would suggest to do anyway. The list 11 different kinds of paint, and does not tell you where to paint 6 of the 11 parts. So I have all this paint, and wondering why I had to buy it. Now comes to good part. Well, it's a small easy to put together model of the NX-01. It's detailed for how small it is, and strong as well. I dropped it a few times and it survived. Painting was easy, and even though it was my first time ever painting a model, I think I did ok. (You can check the customer pic's I put up) Over all, I am pleased. Not a bad little model, but I don't think it's for the age it says it's for. The small part's alone make it a challenge.
