Alphabetical order and drawings/pictures make this book very easy to navigate. The layout of the page is broken down into the columns; every tip starts with a bullet point.

I especially liked extensive information on organic fertilizers & pest control - it explains how to make your own and how to use it specifically for different plants. There are a couple of tables provided throughout the book with different sorts of roses and trees, accompanied by planting time, shadowy/sunny/moist location needs, and general care tips.

The book also has a lot of info on gardening tools and lawn mowers etc. - how and when to use them, maintenance and storage over the winter time. At the very end of the book there are more tables that summon up all the info by each of 12 months - like what has to be done in your garden this particular month (tips broken down by temperature variations).

This book would make a great addition to any gardener's library - either the beginner or a seasoned professional. You can just open it at any page and get motivated to do something. Just keep in mind that it's not a small book format - it's 9.8 x 9.8 x 1 inches.

This book is a must for novice to master gardeners. It's alphabetical easy reference layout allows quick access to many various gardening techniques & topics. The easy reads share a wealth of knowledge in a matter of minutes. All books should be this simple and informative. Many helpful illustrations also tucked into the text. Fabulous find!

This book was so good I purchased three more for gifts. Easy to use, vast # of topics covered with only useable detail. I wish I had found it years ago.
