For a planned kitchen remodel I bought a half dozen books and this one was the most helpful by far. My kitchen is 30 years old so there are a lot of new concepts for kitchen design I wasn't aware of. It is not so much about floor plans but about how to create an efficient workspace by becoming aware of all the new and convenient cabinet designs, clever storage approaches and improved appliances that are available today. It addresses all the items (from large appliances to the smallest of items like tableware) one uses in a kitchen and the best way to position or store them so they are handy and useful. It offers so many different options that, armed with this thorough reference filled with great photos, you should be able to create a kitchen that fits your needs and lifestyle.

I purchased 3 different Kitchen design and remodeling books, but this one was absolutely the best book ever. I was able to remodel my entire kitchen, utilizing the most state of the art designs. I highly recommend 1001 Ideas for Kitchen Organization to anyone who wants to remodel or build a kitchen. Wonderful!

I love this book: it covers its subject thoroughly, from floor, ceiling and cabinets. It is also full of useful tips and illustrations. Extremely helpful for making kitchen storage decisions.
