If you are looking for a how to manual, this is not it. It is ,however, a very good source of ideas. It really does have 1001 tips. Some are very extravagent, and some are simple adjustments. But it is just a starting point. It leaves you to fill in the rest.

This is a great idea and suggestion book. Useful for both big block muscle cars and 4 cyl. imports!

What this book isn't--An indexed, how-to book along the lines of Chilton, etc. What it is--a fun, snippet of ideas, that you can open a page to and get an idea and read in 3 minutes or less. Sometimes you don't want (or need) to read entire chapters on this or that...this book fits the bill. I would recommend it for that. If you want Chilton's (or Haynes, etc.) it's out there.

This book is great for the beginner or the expert. Lots of weekend projects, food for thought, and more power! I find myself reading it of an evening just for ideas; and yes, there are 1001. Entertaining, and produces results in my engine.

Oh puhlease! This book has no table of contents, and no index. You would be better off just browsing the internet (which, apparently, is what the author of this book has done).

I want my money back.
