This review is from: 1001 Questions Answered About Trees (Paperback)
I got an old copy of this book that was appearently once in a library. It looked like it was going to be outdated and of questionable value. After reading the first 60 or so questions, however, I found the book to be timeless and a pleasant sort of quirky. The questions and answers are not what I expected - 106. What kind of wood was Noah's arc made from? And the breadth of the topics is astounding - 658. Is latex always milky?
While this is truly trivia, it is enjoyable, well-organized trivia about one of my favorite subjects. If you have a deep interest in forests, biology, trees or trivia, this book should keep you busy for a good 6 - 10 hours.
