Good quality discs; white printable, but not hub-printable,

The 16 discs I've burned & printed so far all worked very well, no problems at all. And, they have a white printable area, which gives much nicer results than the silver-printable variety.
These have standard (40mm) non-printable centers. Had I given it more thought, I'd have ordered "hub-printable" discs instead, which have smaller (20mm) non-printable centers and permit the creation of nicer, more professional-looking labels. Of course, I don't know whether such discs would be as reliable as the Maxells or show the printing as well as these do.

Fair value for the money,

The price I paid for this spindle of CD-R's was pretty good and have not had a problem yet. The only price that I have seen that beats this one was Staples running a sale of 50 for $10, but I have yet to use the stock that I bought as I still have about 25 left on the spindle. If you don't want to wait for their sale, this is an excellent bargain. The print surface has done very well with the inks from my Epson Photo R-220.

In duplicating music CD's with a robot duplicator, there was a very high reject rate, averaging 10 to 15% on 3 packs of 100. When I switched back to Taiyo Yuden CD's, there were no rejects. The price of the Maxell CD's was a little lower than Taiyo Yuden, but in the end they were more expensive because of the high reject rate.

Excellent blanks, no problems here,

I've printed and burned a spindle with no coasters. You can print all the way to the inner hub (my replicator is set for a 25mm hub) and it works aces. Great product.

These are low cost but high performance CD-Rs. The packaging is adequate. Sometimes the spindle can crack away at the base when so many CD-Rs are packed unto it. Forutnately, these were fine. The ink from my Disc Painter adheres wells to the surface. However for best results, you should allow the ink to dry properly before attemping to use the CDs.
The under-side of these discs are silver with only the slightest tinge of green on them. The hub of these CD-Rs are clear apart from "Maxell" that is screen printed unto them. I think that this is a fine choice if you use blank CD-Rs on a regular basis and want to give them a professional printed look.

These are very good CDRs for use with Epson Inkjet printers.
The printing comes out very clean and clear. The CDs work well too.

Purchased two 100 spindles. Have burned 100 with zero rejects. I like the white surface but a sharpie drags on the surface. Marker will stick and it is harder to write on this surface than plain cd surface or painted surfaces. This a sticker that was meant to be printed on, but for the price I do like the white surface better than the silver of other low cost cd-r's.

Inexpensive, reliable CDs that take Ink well,

I've been using these CDs regularly for about 2 years now and have found them to be very reliable - haven't had one fail yet during the write process. I duplicate about 5 per week using a 5-DVD/CD duplicator; admittedly, not high volume. Content is all audio (sermons at a small church). The matte finish works well with the Dymo DiscPainter CD/DVD Color Printer (1738260) and provides a pretty reasonable CD label. And at $0.19 each, you can't beat the price.

I went along and bought these printable blank Cds, for the value. I'm happy with product, I trust them and have performed with no problem. We used them at our church to recording worship and sermons and they worked great. No complaints yet. The only issue was the packaging, the spindles arrived cracked and broken. Had to removed and used our empty spindles in order to stored them. Luckily none of the blank cds came broken. Amazon please work on packaging, items were very loose and had no adequate padding.
Otherwise I'm happy with this purchase, but gotta tell you that I found cheaper deal at Sam's. For now I will purchase our blanks from Sam's club.

I noticed some negative reviews from high-speed, high-volume copying users. I do a few CD's here and there and these are working fine for me and my iMac. They print fine and copy well. No problems for the light to medium volume copier.
