Fun games, October 6, 2011
This review is from: 101 Conditioning Games And Drills for Athletes (Paperback)
The book has fun games and great drills for any level. My team enjoyed the games and didn't even realize they were working out at the same time!

Not Very Practical in Most Cases, March 23, 2009
This review is from: 101 Conditioning Games And Drills for Athletes (Paperback)
Perhaps they writers were going for variety. If so, they gave us too much variety.
Long story short, different equipment is required for most drills, so unless you have an endless variety of gear available to you, you will be limited to maybe 30 of these.
For example:
#35 In The Zone
Materials Needed: 2 bumper plates, 2 agility ladders, 10 cones
#84 Swimming Through Hoops
Materials Needed: 6 Hula Hoops, multiple strands of rope, and 6 bricks
I don't know about you, but I don't know many coaches who have access to bumper plates, agility ladders, cones, AND hula hoops, rope, and bricks available to them. Keep in mind, that would just be for 2 drills.
In addition, many of the drills and games listed have been proved to be ineffective or at the very least are outdated.
Bottom line, there are better books than this one available.
