Jay Dawes, M.S., NSCA-CPT, is a faculty instructor in the kinesiology and health studies department at the University of Central Oklahoma, and the owner/head trainer of OneEighty Personal Training in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He holds certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Personal Trainer, the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health/Fitness Instructor, and the American Council on Exercise as a Certified Personal Trainer. Widely respected in his field, Jay has been featured on a number of well-received instructional videos and is currently working on a training book.

Perhaps they writers were going for variety. If so, they gave us too much variety.

Long story short, different equipment is required for most drills, so unless you have an endless variety of gear available to you, you will be limited to maybe 30 of these.
For example:
#35 In The Zone
Materials Needed: 2 bumper plates, 2 agility ladders, 10 cones
#84 Swimming Through Hoops
Materials Needed: 6 Hula Hoops, multiple strands of rope, and 6 bricks

I don't know about you, but I don't know many coaches who have access to bumper plates, agility ladders, cones, AND hula hoops, rope, and bricks available to them. Keep in mind, that would just be for 2 drills.

In addition, many of the drills and games listed have been proved to be ineffective or at the very least are outdated.

Bottom line, there are better books than this one available.
