5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Choice!
I completely disagree with the first review that is listed here. This book was extremely helpful to me when I interviewed for a promotion, and it was helpful once again when I looked to another company. This book does not tell you what to say like most other books. The advice is to stay away from "canned" interview answers, and to instead develop your own...

1.0 out of 5 stars A steaming pile of recycled cliches.
A child could write a better book by clipping random words from the newspaper and pasting them into a journal. Beyond unhelpful. Reading the back covers of *real* books on the interviewing process would be more productive. In case I'm being too vague for anyone out there... don't waste your money.

I completely disagree with the first review that is listed here. This book was extremely helpful to me when I interviewed for a promotion, and it was helpful once again when I looked to another company. This book does not tell you what to say like most other books. The advice is to stay away from "canned" interview answers, and to instead develop your own answers based on your own work experience. This book gets you prepared for anything the interviewer throws your way. I have reviewed several other interview books, and in my opinion, this is the best one out there. I highly recommend picking up a copy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ace The Interview, December 22, 2005
One feels more confident by preparing ahead for possible questions. Know what to say when asked about the gap in the resume or why you left the last job. Read this book to get an idea of questions you might face. When asked, "What is your greatest weakness," you won't stammer out something that kills your chances.
Having mulled over the best way to present yourself helps avoid becoming flustered.
