This collection of 101 different thoughts is a good read when you have a few minutes to spare. Each thought is unique and short, spanning one or two sentences to a paragraph. I like that this book cites scripture to make it easy to reference the thoughts if you feel like you want to know the context of the situation. Basically, this book is short, it is a good read during short breaks within an individual's busy schedule, or even as bedtime reading. While it does not go too in-depth with any particular thought, it is a shallow faith-based article rather than a thought-provoking religious book.

This a Biblically sound book. The Bible Scripture and insights flow nicely together. I love that I can choose to read just few or several at a time. This is a good one to read right before going to sleep or to read first thing in the morning.

This short read is like a promise box for Kindle. When I was small my grandma had a small box full of little paper squares of written scriptures. Each day she would pull one out. They were called Promise Boxes. This little book is like one of those boxes. If you need a quick "pick me up" from God's word or a promise to get you through the day, get this book.

Because this book is so short it is tempting to read in one sittting. But the book gives you a thought with supporting scriptures, some deserve real thought, and it is probably wise to do a few at a time. Overall a good way to get yourself back in the Word slowly.

pick up this book. I liked the format of going back and forth from the Scripture to the author's meditation.... and also how the applications in one section often carried forward to the next few, making it possible to meditate on the relationship of one Scripture to another. Kind of different, and I enjoyed this structure more than I thought I would. There are probably no concepts here that will be brand new to you, especially if you're a Christian..... but I found the writing vivid, clear, personal and Biblically based. The author stated, "It is my hope that you will be blessed with a deeper understanding and relationship with your Jesus", and I think this purpose is accomplished very well in this book. Thanks to the author for sharing these thoughts!

This little book is so useful! I am going to keep it handy at work when I am tempted to overreact, or gossip, or entertain a negative thought. Instead of giving in to Satan, I will reach for this little book, and feed my soul. It's perfect, because reading the Bible on company time would be frowned upon, but reading a little snippet of scripture and a devotional thought will take less than 30 seconds, and do me a world of good!

Thank you Pauline for your obedience and insight.

Good little book to use. I have it on my Kindle to access it whenever I want to. Not a heavy read so I like it when I want something light!
