This book would probably be good if you grew up in a box and had zero previous sexual experience. The "quickies" are anything but quick. Some of the 10 we opened before disposing of this piece of garbage required items such as a long stem rose... chocolate truffles... a lot of food. Not really suited for a quickie. This book may be a good start for an 18 year old virgin... but if you've been sexually active for more than a couple of years, and watch TV/movies occasionally I doubt it will bring any new ideas. May be a bit hard to clean-up in time to get back to work on your lunch break if you've got to shower to wash all of the peach syrup off of your body.

My husband and I have tried using this book for fun quickies, because we have two young children and want to keep the spark up. Admittedly, we have not nearly finished trying them.

We have found them to be not that exicting and still time consuming. The 101 Nights of Grrreat Sex has been more useful and fun.

My new husband bought this book for us when we were apart for 2months during the summer before we were married on 8-30-97. We usedit on our honeymoon to make sex even more special and very sexy! It's the best book I've seen and so many interesting things to do. I do have to say though, that the temptation was too much for him....he couldn't even wait to be with me and find out gradually what the quickies were. He cheated and opened them all....but I suppose it got him through the pain of being apart. Just thinking about those quickies sets your imagination running wild!! Try it yourself! There's NO WAY anyone can ever be disappointed with this book....it will add LOTS of spice to your love life. I'm really looking forward to being able to try Laura's other books and I hope she'll keep this series coming!! END

Definately recommend it to help spice up your sex life! Can give you lots of ideas and we're keeping the coupons for reuse later! Some do require preperation (like picking up a rose or some type of food), but it makes it even more fun! Though, these are definately NOT quick! :)

101 GRRReat Quickies is kind of a fun book. It is not for those whom are just starting out in marriage or a relationship, but for those of us whom have a marriage or relationship for many years. We found this book exciting, as you know the role planned for you just before your ready. The role given to you will be fun and probably a little different for all of us instead of just "to do it". It just makes you do things a different way and not the same ole way as the routined usually fall into. This is a clean fun and spirited way of presenting your next quick encounter. Every other one is for him and then her. As the pages are sealed, and you go one by one, it is a lot of fun for those young at heart, that want something better than just a wam-bam-thank-you-mam biological quickie. This is one book the most of us will not finish in a hurry!

I found out about this book at a girls night out with old college friends. (Well, we're not old - in our late 20's.) At first my husband was skeptical. Books like this are usually really cheezy and dumb. NOT THIS ONE. I have done things I never intended to do, but that's the fun of it - letting go of your inhibitions. Having a young child in the household means you have to make the most of your time, and you definately can with this book. My husband wants to keep the suggestions for later and pull them out of the hat.

The book was an incredible disappointment. 98% of the stuff in this book you've already tried if you've been having sex for more than a year. Laura also seems to assume women don't work outside the home ("meet your man when he gets home from work..."), and most have a closet full of "full, billowy skirts" with which to perform her quickies. My husband and I bought this book hoping it would have some fun, innovative ideas but what we got was a lot of silly stuff, most of which we've already done - and I agree with some of the other reviewers - most of these "quickies" are anything but quick. If you are new to sex and want to try some silly stuff, this book might be fun. If you are a "seasoned pro," don't waste your money.

I bought this book for my husband for our 10th anniversary to add a renewed spark to our intimate life! And it really has made a difference! Not being one to initiate an evening of romance and intimacy, this book has opened my ideas in creating romantic moments with my husband! Truly a book to bring closeness with your mate!

This book is Okay. It's not original but we still try to have fun with it. It does suck that they're not really quickies though. Although if you have a free night, some of them are good :)

101 Grrreat Quickies is one of the best couples books I have ever found. I was engaged when I purchased this little marvel. We are now married and have yet to experience even one quarter of it yet. You never know what you will do next until you open the envelope. We liked a few of the suggestions so much, we have used them time and time again. You won't be disappointed!
