Quilting designs in a large variety of variations with some traditional ones included all with great color samples. Included with the full size templates are shaded greys of the pattern for ease in chosing your own masterpiece. Twisting and twirling the log shapes gives some spectacular results. An easy method for piecing tops it off. Now I have to decide which one to try first. The way it's layed out makes each block a very do-able project. Good for beginners as well as the pros.

With full-sized paper piecing patterns, lots of log cabin designs, and color photographs of completed blocks, this book is perfect for those who like paper-piecing log cabin blocks. I haven't seen another book that fits all of these criteria.

I just keep using new patterns all the time. Easy instructions and lots of good illustrations. Suggestions help you get your imagination working for your own unique quilt pattern. I love my book.

nice book w/many patterns. Not much in the way of sewing directions---glad I know about paper foundation piecing before I try these.

Yes, there are 101 log cabin blocks and I would have liked some pictures or digital ilustration as how those blocks could look in a quilt. Specially for log cabin it is difficult to imagine how they look depending on color and block arrangement, I know the possibilitis are infinite but some examples would have helped.

I enjoy doing paper-pieced log cabin because it doesn't take much thought and you end up with unique block every time.

Love this book. Patterns range from very simple to complex. Most work up really fast

interesting different ways to sew the old log cabin. Makes patchwork a lot of fun and gives quilts the 'wow' factor
