Comment: This book has already been loved by someone else. It MIGHT have some wear and tear on the edges, have some markings in it, or be an ex-library book. Over-all it is still a good book at a great price! (if it is supposed to contain a CD or access code, that may be missing)

My family has tried about 10 recipes so far, all have been delightful. Our favorite: Southwestern Cilantro meatball soup. Now we have an easy time using the 6-pound bag of meatballs we buy at Sam's Club.

This is a great little cookbook. I have several in the "101 Things to Do With ....." series and I find myself going to them often for a quick recipe. There are no fancy glossy photo pages and the booklets are small, but overall, for the price, I can say you will get your moneys worth.

Format: Paperback
This little cookbook, has meatball recipes for appetizers and sides, soups, stews and chili, sandwiches and wraps dressy meatballs, pasta dinners, rice dinners and family favorites. There are no photographs, however the cookbook is well organized and the recipes all have catchy names such as chines beef noodle soup, ravioli meatball stir-fry and white beacn salsa chili.

The recipes are all quite simple using common every day ingredients. Although I must say I was rather horrified to see a recipe calling for a jar of Cheez Whiz. Do people still eat Cheez Whiz?

The funny part about this book is that there is no recipe for meatballs. The authors of the book use frozen pre-made meat balls. That there is not a recipe for meatballs, I found to be rather disappointing. I like to make my food from scratch and would never consider buying pre-made meatballs. For some that is what make this book so attractive, the recipes are simple and easy and do not require any culinary training. For anyone who has a bag of frozen meatballs in the fridge and is looking for a quick easy way to make something different for dinner, this is your book. This book is perfect for a college student or family looking for simple ways to make dinner different.
