Cooking is her hobby gone out of control. She and her books have appeared in numerous television programs, radio shows, newspapers, and magazines nationwide. She loves teaching people how to save time and money in the kitchen. Stephanie has a bachelors degree in Family Science from Brigham Young University.

One potato is about 100 calories and is a good source of Vitamin C. While it is a fat-free food to start with, who can resist butter and sour cream?

Stephanie Ashcraft loves to create the 101 Things to Do With A ...cookbooks and she is a highly creative cook who knows how to create delicious recipes. She has a bachelor's degree in family science. She has been teaching cooking classes since 1998.

In this book, she also includes helpful hints for buying potatoes and gives the basic potatoes and their uses. You might want to choose a russet potato for hash browns or a waxy potato in salads. She gives information on how to select potatoes and this is great information for all your potato recipes.

I can't believe all the things that are possible to do with a potato! Recipes look easy to follow and don't have a lot of impossible to find ingredients. Wish there were pictures though.

Potatoes are cheap, good for you, have a long (refrigerator) shelf life, and the potential to be very tasty. While many of these recipes don't appeal to the educated palate, they probably taste just fine to people who think chikcen tenders are real food. And in that group, the majority are teens and 20-somethings. Because these recipes are pretty straightforward and don't call for a lot of exotic ingredients, they are just that much more appealing to our young people. Throw in a gift card to a grocery store and you've got a great graduation, birthday, or other holiday gift for your favorite 20-something who's recently left home and gone out on his own. 50 Ways to Leave Your Mother
