I purchased a Svengali deck and it only came with a few ideas, so, I purchased this book and it really opened up a ton (101) new tricks that I am still learning. Have fun!

Svengali cards and book

got this as a gift for christmas for the grand boys. They both loved it they thought the cards did the trick Once they read the book and learned the tricks they had a blast. Fooling their parents, grandparents, and friends. would recomend for all older grand children both boys and grils great gift

Most of the "101 Tricks" are just repeats with slight variations. I guess there are only a so many things you can do with this trick deck.

It's great to learn these effects. I use this for many of my mentalism effects when I do my magic to friends and such. Many of the effects pretty easy.

This is really just a short pamphlet and is probably not worth the cost. You can see many of these effects on youtube videos for free. There are no pictures or diagrams in this booklet. Not what I expected.

However, the effects described in it are good. But, I feel it's too expensive for what it is.

If you're a magician you know that there aren't that many tricks, but there are a lot of different reveals. There are definitely not 101 good tricks here, but there are a few. Worth the small price.

This is a great starter for anyone interested in trying some magic tricks. I purchased this svengali trick book and the svengali deck of cards for my husband and he really likes them. I would highly suggest purchasing the book when you purchase the cards because it will teach you a lot of neat tricks from the book. The items shipping fast and I would highly recommend this seller!

This book goes over everything you can do with your Svengali Deck! I am new to the "Magic" world so I wanted to start with something simple and easy to use and the Svengali Deck is just that and I always get awesome reactions with it. This book taught me a whole bunch of tricks I didnt even know you can do with the deck.

Caution to buyers of this item....the product description (when I purchased the item) implied that the booklet came complete with the trick cards. I bought two booklets for my kids thinking that the cards would be included. Wrong! I got the booklets without cards and did not have time to order the cards in time for Christmas. I think the catalog description should clearly state "booklet does not include cards." Also, the book is a bit difficult for younger kids to comprehend without help from an adult.
