The TV business is really really hard to break into. And - as we all know - you need talent....and then you need the other stuff. The way you approach other writers. The places you hang out. What jobs lead to bigger jobs. How do you make contacts. That's what this book does...it's for people who already have the smarts but now need to walk the talk...and end up with an actual amazing job at the end of it.

Highly recommended.

This book is a must read by anyone who sincerely wants to break into the entertainment industry. It is loaded with practical advice from people who have been there, done that, and are living the dream. There's no theory just solid advice on everything from where to live to how to get your foot in the door. Plus it's a fascinating insiders look at how the entertainment industry really works straight from the people who are living it. An easy and fun read even if you're not planning to bust down any doors in Hollywood and a must have if you are.

Worked with author for many years. Rounded up terrific advice from those who've "made it." Good, practical, actionable tips. (None of the "believe in yourself!" garbage present in so many books.) This will actually help you get a job.
