This light is a great product. I installed it over my art work and the only thing wrong with it is the bulb only lasted 30 minutes. It burnt out and now I need to find another odd shaped bulb to replace it. Other than that it did work for a little while.

This would have been a great product if the light bulbs lasted more than 1 day. The replacement bulbs are impossible to find. Other bulbs will last 3-6 seconds. You have to find the 4.8VDC .32A type E10 replacement bulb. No such thing can be found anywhere. I wish I had read reviews before I purchased this at Home Depot. Otherwise, this WOULD HAVE been an amazing product. Affordable & no need for hard-wiring or plugs. Please don't waste your money.

I was looking for a some picture lighting. I read the reviews and realized I have the same lighting problem with a GE mini refrigator. The light burnt out (still under warranty) shorting after I purchased it. I called GE. They told Me to purchase it locally. No one stocks it. Apparently not even GE. Glad I read the reviews.

I don't know how the other reviewer could give this item as many stars as he did if it only lasts 30 mins. My two lights did not do better or was it the 4 AA batteries it depleated inside of an hour? Lights are not very bright, reflector helps some, but then you are not able to direct the light onto your picture. A word to the wise, don't waste your money on this one, I wish I hadn't.

THE LIGHT IS QUITE INGENEOUS THE TWO DEFECTS ARE ONCE PLACED HARD TO TURN OFF AND SECOND BATTERIES DONT REALLY LAST THAT LONG BUT NO WIRES A COOL IDEA WOULD RECOMMEND AS LONG AS THE LAMP IS REACHABLE AND NOT TO BE LIT FOR LARGE QUANTITIES OF THE TIME MARIE VACCATO MAIMI BEACH FLORIDA

This light is faulty. It creates a line of light across the picture and doesn't illuminate properly. The illumination is of very poor quality.

This item shouldn't even be available for purchase! Besides the batteries only lasting 4 hours or so, the light bulb lasts about a fraction of that time. Trying to get a replacement lightbulb is out of the question in this country! I found a website where I could purchase more lightbulbs from China which is the only place to get them! After paying $48 for ten bulbs due to extremely high shipping costs from China, the bulbs only lasted a matter of minutes before burning out! Incredible! We can land a man on the moon, but we can't make a light bulb that lasts more than 5 minutes! Thomas Edison would be turning in his grave if he found out how botched his invention has become!

So, buying this picture light is a complete waste of money! They should stop manufacturing them!

"DON'T BUY IT!!!"

This light is hard to load batteries into without cutting your fingers. After inserting the batteries it worked for less than 4 hours and had to be taken down and new batteries inserted. We were unable to get the light to come back on so I purchased a new bulb and still no light.

NOT WHAT I thought it would be....Did not work well...difficult to get to switch when on a wall....unless you know for sure this is the light you want, I would not recommend as a picture light. did not enhance my THOMAS KINKAIDE whatsoever..

this item only worded for minutes,.... bulb life sucks and the replacements are expensive 4.50 of which only lasts for minutes as well.... dont waste your money on this product
