Who ever made this thing must hate X-MAS. 1. This thing leaks!! 2. It's so hard to screw in the bolts you need a hand tool. 3. Leveling a tree is an evening event. 4. If you need more resons not to buy this... then buy it and post what you hate about it here too.

The first review is dead on. This thing LEAKS! It has a deep, trunk hole I guess you'd call it? - - but the screws are so low that the water seeps through the screw holes. You have to saw off 8 to 10 inches of branches to get the tree to go all the way to the bottom, or you'll have a very tippy tree. Oh, it's also really hard to get water into the stand.

Almost any other tree stand out there would probably be a better bet.

The instructions were MAYBE 5 lines and the only rule it has is "do not fill water over screw holes". And it's a VERY deep so you really don't need to fill it to the top if you can just remember to water it every or every other day.

Only 4 stars because the screws are very hard to screw, but I did it in the car on the way to pick up the tree, no time lost. And I only needed a tool for one particularly tricky one. I did use a rag as padding because my fingers got sore.

I like that there are two layers of screws, it's extra screwing but extra support. And leveling it was a breeze. Since I had the screws in most of the way, when we got the tree home, it took maybe 5 minutes to get it upright, watered, and lit.

It's my first real tree and first tree stand, so maybe there are REALLY AWESOME tree stands out there and maybe this one deserves a 1 star rating comparatively. But it was cheap and easy and I'm very happy with it. My tree is still standing straight, alive, and not a drop of water has leaked from it.

This stand doesn't hold right 6ft tree. I am not sure what's wrong with this design but even with 4 screws it is impossible to secure the tree. My tree tipped over twice and came crashing down to the ground where it broke most of the ornaments.

This stand is awful. I have a "swivel" tree stand that I love, but it's currently across the country in storage so I bought this for the mean time. It leaks water everywhere- and the bolts are really hard to screw in and hurt your hands. Do not buy!!
