Responsive, Self-Propelled Design Takes Pressure off Your Body
The exclusive Lawn-Boy Sens-a-Speed Self-Propel System senses your walking speed and adjusts automatically to match speeds up to four mph. This means you won't have to chase your mower on a downgrade or hold it back when you're trimming around the garden. A durable, lightweight, 21-inch steel deck also contributes to easy maneuvering.
Ergonomic features like the SimpleSet adjustable handle and soft comfort grips keep you comfortable. Easy-turn wheels and a maneuverable, lightweight body minimize the amount of effort you have to expend mowing, while a one-handed easy-lift bag helps to keep you from straining yourself while disposing of yard waste.
3-in-1 Functionality for Serious Versatility
With the option to use this Lawn-Boy as a mulching mower, you can avoid cumbersome bagging and time-consuming raking, and the nutrients in your grass clippings are effectively recycled, helping maintain the overall health of your lawn. If you've got tall, wet grass to contend with or lots of leaves on the lawn that make mulching impractical, you can convert quickly and easily to rear bagging or side discharge of lawn waste without having to use any tools. Additionally, you can adjust the cutting height on this mower from one to four inches for optimum lawn health in a variety of conditions.
And when it's time to stash your mower in the garage, you'll appreciate the compact storage options that the quick stow lever system provides. Step on the lever once for 90-degree storage and twice for storage at 180 degrees, which allows even the bag to pack away neatly.
This lawn mower is backed by a two-year complete coverage warranty. California residents should take note that this mower is non-CARB compliant.
What's in the Box

Disappointing Lawn Mower,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Lawn Boy 10666 Insight Series 21-Inch 6.75 Briggs & Stratton Gas-Powered Self-Propelled Lawn Mower (Lawn & Patio)
For me, this is a very disappointing lawn mower. I did my due diligence, researched lawn mower products and read all the reviews. This machine is significantly under powered and DOES NOT perform as claimed. I've used this lawn mower all summer, and I use the grass catching bagger. The Sens-a-Speed feature does not work adequately. I find that I must "push" the mover along because it does not move along on its own. I spend WAY TOO MUCH energy pushing it. It does not adapt to my walking speed. When the bagger gets full and/or if the grass is moist the weight contributes to the lawn mover's poor Sans-a-Speed performance. IT DOES NOT FUNCTION AS ADVERTISED. Again, this is a very disappointing lawn mover for me. I would not have bought it if I knew then what I know now. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Poor customer support,
By Tachyon "wide_awake" (The forest of northern Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Lawn Boy 10666 Insight Series 21-Inch 6.75 Briggs & Stratton Gas-Powered Self-Propelled Lawn Mower (Lawn & Patio)
I purchased this mower from Amazon and it was delivered on June 10, 2009 with critical parts in the bottom of the shipping carton that had fallen off the mower. My call to Amazon was poorly handled when I was promised a return phone call from Amazon's "specialty shipping team" within 24 hours; several days later now, I was never called by this "team" or anyone at Amazon. My calls to Lawn-Boy were handled by polite customer service clerks who told me all they could do would be to ship me any parts I determined were "missing"; they said shipping would take up to "10 business days", meaning TWO WEEKS. This order was placed with Amazon on June 1, 2009 and as of today, the mower still does not work and I may have to wait another 2 weeks for the part to arrive from Lawn-Boy. My suggestion is NOT to buy a mower from any online dealer and just pay the extra to have a local dealer make sure the mower RUNS before you take it home. And definitely consider a DIFFERENT manufacturer that Lawn-Boy/Toro company (same company makes both brands); you could get MUCH better customer support. I will send an updated review in a few days.
