The spout leaks at the base. Looks cool though. I guess it will work ok outside where a dripping spout will not matter so much.

I have found that the designers at OXO have an amazing ability to take an ordinary object and greatly improve it. In this case, the spout on the watering can roates 360 degress. This means you can fill it completely full at a faucet and by keeping the spout against the can, not have to worry about spilling it as you carry it. Or, if you water from a large bucket or rain barrel, it's easy to dunk to fill it up for the same reason. Some other OXO products I've found to be wonderful: their carrot peeler and their measuring cups. The measuring cups have an sloped indentation inside calibrated with the usual measuring cups increments (1/4 cup, 1/3 cup, etc.) The great thing about this is you can pour into the measuing cup and see exactly how much you've added without bending down to ready the measuring cup (a great improvement for those who wear bifocals).

I recently bought an OXO Good Grips Indoor Pour & Store 3.17 quart watering can. This can holds just enough water without being heavy and (the best part!) is so easy to store. The swiveling spout allows it to fit on a shelf in my laundry room without taking up much space.

Cute it may be, but it leaks like a sieve at the swivel for the spout. The pour is good. The store is not good.

Love the watering can with it's swivel spout. The only downside is that after a year it has now developed a tear in the plastic at the top near the water fill hole.

The rotating spout is great, I'm a big fan. However, the removable rose (which I was at first excited about) is very poorly constructed. It falls out very easily and even when it is in, it gets loose and water comes out from between the seam making a mess and when trying to water delicate areas this problem causes flooding and potential damage (such as with new plantings which are still weak). This can makes me want to go back to the old seamless galvanized steel cans where the water came out of where it was supposed to...the holes in the rose.

I really shopped to find this size watering can with measurement markings and a rose attachment. However, it arrived with no rose attachment. I called OXO and they shipped the attachment to me within 14 days. BUT the attachment doesn't fit???? I will keep this item because I need it but it did disappoint.

I like this product and use it outside. Overall it's nice, but the rubber head of the spout hardened after a season and no longer is useful. I had to take it off.

I should have read the description a little better. I wanted to use this as an outside watering can to water the plants but it didn't work out well. The design is awesome and the spout is very nice. It does come out very slow which isn't a bad thing, but I am an impatient person. The grip is very nice which allows you to hold it at any level. It can hold a lot of water for it's size. Wasn't smaller than I expected, but I thought it might be a little larger. It is about the size of a small frozen Turkey you buy for Thanksgiving. It stores very nicely though and I would recommend it for watering plants indoors, just not outdoors.

After reading some of the previous reviews, I bought this Watering Can with mixed emotions.
There were certain attributes that were important to my needs, and one of the reasons I didn't just go and buy one at any retails store.

I give this water can five stars. I experienced no cons.

It did NOT leak at the base as experienced by some buyers.
It did come with the the removable shower spout.

It is easy to measure plant food into the water.
The handle position makes for good water weight distribution.
The mouth is wide enough to fill from the kitchen faucet without trouble.
You can clearly view the water level through the opaque spout.
The spout position and length make for easy watering in hard to reach pots (I have plants in old bird cages).
