You probably only need one watering can and this should be it. The design of this watering can is perfect.

- The large grip area allows you to hold it at a variety of angles making watering both accurate and very easy on your wrist. There's black rubber section to help you keep a grip on the can.
- I movable spout folds in for easy storage. In that position, it shows how much water is in the can.
- Water levels are marked.
- Large water fill hole.

Many folks mention not receiving the spout. I received this as a gift (I requested it) and it didn't come with a spout. I was a little disappointed. A few days later, as my dad was about to recycle the box, he found the spout. I don't know what the packaging is like, but it seems the spout is easily lost in it.

If only every item was designed this well.

It is almost impossible to spill water when walking to your plants with this watering can. The spout rotates so that the opening is over the well of the can! Very well designed and built.

Love it. It's light and easy to use. It's an indoor watering can but I use it outside as well. It's weight makes it perfect for hanging planters.

I was hesitant because of the price, but this watering can is really convenient. It has a swivel out neck to make it store smaller, and the watering tip (that makes a shower of the water) detaches for filling an aerogarden. In mine, the spout is color-matched to the body, which is also nice.

I was looking for a watering can big enough to water several window boxes and/or do some spot watering of plants in my veggie garden. This can will handle four window box rewaterings. The movable spout is really helpful for storage and I haven't had the issues with leaking that others have mentioned. The Good Grips handle is a big help when it's heavy and wet and you're trying to tip it!

One note of caution: be sure you know how big 3.17 quarts is! If you're looking for a can for your outdoor garden, I'd recommend the bigger size as you'll be refilling this several times (as it turns out, the product title indicates it's for indoor use!). However, for indoor watering or window boxes, this is a great product.

Liked it so much I bought another one. No problems with leaks (so far). Great ergonomics and good size. Docked a star because the floret doesn't stay put when stowed.

This watering can works well. We planted a small container garden on our porch this spring and wanted something non-bulky that we could use to transport the water from the kitchen sink to the little garden, and this is perfect.

One note however: The plastic rose attachment that is supposed to come with the can apparently doesn't through Amazon. I don't know if this is a new development or not, but we ordered our first can mid-March and it showed up without the rose attachment, which we needed. After reading a review that said they later found theirs loose in the shipping box, we double checked everything again, but no attachment was found.

We figured it was an honest mistake and I wrote to Amazon to see if they could just send the part. They said they couldn't send individual pieces and to just return the whole unit for an exchange. The second can showed up just a few days later and once again, no rose attachment on the unit or in the box. Amazon was once again unhelpful, so we went straight to OXO who had an attachment sent to us a week later at no charge (we did need to provide a receipt to prove we'd purchased it). So, props to OXO!

I bought this watering can for my wife, as a gift to water plants in her office at work (she was using empty water bottles and needed to refill them multiple times when doing her watering). My search criteria was something cute and stylish, so it could sit out in view and not be an eyesore. The capacity needed to be large enough to water a few plants without it needing to be refilled, but not so large it was cumbersome. And it needed to be reasonably priced. The OXO 3.17-quart watering can was the perfect solution. It is light weight, looks good, holds the right amount of water, is well made, reasonably priced and cute. It also has a nice feature which allows you to turn the pouring spout inward--giving it a small foot print while not being used. What else can I say? Oh, my wife was very happy with this gift...thus I was very happy I bought it for her.

I love the rotating spout! Easy to read the water level. Pours great. Great color. Nothing bad to say about it.

I was trying to find a good balance between too many runs to the sink with a small watering can, and a can too heavy to use easily. This one strikes an excellent balance for me. That the spout can be turned in for easier storage is terrific. I was actually concerned that the junction where the spout turns would leak, but I've had no problem with that whatsoever. The transparent spout and clear area on the can that show water level are also very helpful.

I have carpal tunnel syndrome and some arthritis, both of which can create problems with gripping things for any length of time.... and as is usual with OXO products, I find the handle very easy to hold and not at all stressful on my fingers and wrist. Another example of truly functional design from OXO.
