I bought two and transferred all of my screws, nails, bolts, and other hardware into the cabinets. They come with plastic cut-outs to divide many of the drawers into two compartments. There is not much backing on the cabinet, so I glued on some plastic (old shower curtain) to the back to further isolate the hardware from the moist salt air that we have on the coast. The cabinets are sturdy, the drawers slide easily, the stops on the drawers work well, and yet it is easy to remove the drawers when needed.

We go through this time after time: one of us says "oh, this little empty jar will make a great thing to store screws or clips." And then we have many mongrel little jars in the basement workroom. I take these glass items to the recycling bin, and instead I have one of these drawers. Easy to see what's there, a great way to organize all those little bits and pieces like picture hangers, brads, screws, magnetic mounts, nails, nuts, bolts and what have you. A must for any workshop.

For those who were wondering: the actual product dimensions are 20"x15"x6.25".

I bought this to organize my screws and such in the garage. It is great in that it has a lot of drawers and comes with some dividers (for both the large and small drawers-- I'm not sure why another reviewer said there weren't large dividers). There aren't many dividers, though, so if you anticipate needing lots you'll have to buy some.

The whole box is made of medium duty plastic, which is what I expected for the price. However, I gave it four stars rather than five because it isn't very well designed for free standing use. The dividers make up most of the back, so if you remove them you lose structural integrity and, I imagine, will have a bowed frame in no time if you put anything weighty in it. I plan to hang it on the wall, which I think will help to prevent bowing, but I'll be sure to update after it's been up for a while!

I bought this for my son to keep his Legos a little more organized. The top drawers are small but so are the Lego pieces so it doesn't seem to be a problem. Now if I could only get him to finish sorting the Legos and use all the drawers we'd be a lot more organized!

The cabinet is made of plastic and the drawers slide easily. It's good quality and works well for our use.

I am a Lego enthusiast. I got this drawer cabinet to store Lego parts, sorted by type (more or less). I like it a lot.

The drawers have a little stopper on them so you can leave them hanging out, but at the same time it is easy to take out the drawer entirely. The back of the unit has some partitions that you can cut out and place in slots that are in each drawer, thus dividing any given drawer in two. However, I wish they included more of these partitions.

The drawers are semi-transparent (a bit "smoky"). I wish they were completely translucent. Perhaps that is more expensive to manufacture, though?

These Akro-Mils units also have grooves on the top/bottoms so if you buy multiple, you can stack them without them shifting on you. They also have holes in the back so you can mount them in a wall on a couple (or 4) screws, like you might do with a decorative shelf or picture frame, if you know what I mean.

All-in-all I'm pretty happy. I think they sell these for a fair price (roughly thirty bucks). I will be buying another one of these in the near future.

I bought this case for my garage to store small parts like washers and screws things like that. I think that its an ok storage case, but a bit too expensive for the quality. It is constructed from cheap plastic and I wonder if it will break down over time as cheap plastic does. Mine already has a small crack in the bottom right corner and has not suffered any abuse in my possession. I think I should have gone to Walmart or Lowe's and looked at some like other people here have mentioned. I do like being able to look throgh the drawers to see what is in them rather than labeling them like for a wood case. I think this case should have sold for about 15% less with the shipping to be a decent value.

First this a nice looking cabinet. It has a black trim around the front edge which adds strength and gives some nice detail. The grey outer shell is a nice contrast. The cabinet is relatively strong, but I added a couple of supports under the center of the cabinet as the "feet" are out on the edges and without a bit more center support it can "bow" slightly if you load it with heavy nuts and bolts. Definately buy the additional drawer dividers as the ones that are molded in the back are kind of wimpy and will remove support from the back of the cabinet if removed (they are molded into the back) and there isn't many anyway. I tried other dividers I found locally and the sizes aren't quite right so get them when you get the cabinet. The two lower/outside drawers didn't stop right as the tabs were missing. I don't know if this was a design or manufacturing defect but I fixed it by adding stops in the back of the drawers. (Most people wouldn't probably notice the drawer fit...) I bought a couple of cabinets from Home Depot and Menards and took them both back. This one is, by far, a better buy. That being said, Amazon should fix the graphic... It was blank when I bought.. :) I just noticed that the graphic updated to the red trim. Mine was black...

I looked around for an organizer which combines the right amount of small and large bins - this is the one. The only drawback is that they do not include the dividers for the 12 large bins (I had to purchas seperetely for $12 w/shipping!).

The face of this product that is red is rippled in certain spots and not smooth. I have two of these and both of them arrived with broken clips that keep the clear drawers from sliding all the way out. Very disappointed.

Great, high quality shelf. Very tough, and very large.
Comes with multiple dividers for the shelves, giving you more then promised.
The shelves are so big, you won't miss the space by dividing it.

If you are borderline about this, buy it!
