The pendant looks exactly like the picture. The gold looks a little lighter in person. The 4 prongs that holds the stone in has a shine to it that makes it look like small crystals at each corner. The stone color is very close to the color in the picture. It came in a very nice bag with 2 pockets in it and packaged in a way so that the chain was knot free. It could probably be worn daily and also for dressy occasions. I'm very happy with this necklace.
