2.0 out of 5 stars TIME WARPED, November 5, 2007
This review is from: 11:59 (DVD)
11:59 is a film with an interesting premise, but it's so poorly executed, it sabotages that premise. Unbelievable gimmicks, no explanation for the title, or how our hero manages to go back and forth in time. Add some inept performances from Raymond Anthony Bailey, Laura Fuller and Liz Cunningham and you have a reasonably inexplicable movie. nice try, though.

1.0 out of 5 stars A Huge Piece of Excrement, December 14, 2011
This review is from: 11:59 (DVD)
To say that the script was written by a no talent bum would be a compliment to the script writer. And the director? Give a three year old a handheld camera and an editor on crack and you'd achieve the same result. Stay away from this huge, huge, HUGE piece of crap. The final insult is that "11:59" ... the title .... has nothing to do with anything.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not the BEST but STILL entertaining, May 24, 2011
This review is from: 11:59 (DVD)
For starters, this movie is NOT as bad as it seems.

On the negative side, the movie is somewhat slow, and in some sense, confusing. There's one part in the movie (the second time he wakes in the field) where there's absolutely not explanation how he wound up there (back in his real life). However, the storyline had just that SLIGHT edge to draw the audience in, with a desire to know how the movie would end. I thought the ending where Aaron saves that little boy's life was enough to make this movie from an "OK" movie to a "Good" movie. The ending really gave the rest of the story meaning and put things in perspective.

Now, does that mean you should watch it? If you have nothing to do on a Friday night, watch it. It's not THAT bad.
