Dalida was one of the greatest french singers of all times. With her deep alto voice she conquered the heart of millions all over the world. Her career was phenomenal with over 100 million records sold worldwide. She received 55 golden records and was the first songstress to get a diamond disc. Alright, what are you waiting for ?

Lovely voice, and Salut Salaud is really beautifully done.

Dalida was not french. She was egyptian... and spent her life trying to overcome what she saw as her shortcomings. Her brother, Orlando, was an important comfort to her. I was a fan and was living in Paris just a block from Dalidia's house when she left this world. It was tragic and beautiful. The French have great respect for artists and when someone of Dalida's stature passes, the entire country pauses, reflects, and appreciates that persons contributions.
