5.0 out of 5 stars Drunken Review #16 October 12, 2013

The series is in japanese with english subtitles and 12-13 episodes and the description sucks. Now that that's out of the way...

The animation was good, the background settings were awesome, but the story / concept is where i'm overly satisfied. This series reminded me of Persona, without the summoning. The main characters get 'sent' into this alternate universe where odd creatures exist and try to kill them. In this alt. verse is a 'witch' concealed within a crystal, with a group of guards keeping her inside the crystal, and the students try to figure out whether all of them are friend(s) or foe(s). The series progresses with the two main characters finding more students in their school that possess the same issue they do; they get whisked off to this alt. universe unexpectedly, have special powers, and are unsure of the 'why' in it all.

The story had some crazy twists, character developments that I didn't approve of (who am I?), and an all around creepy, yet fulfilling story-line. It was yet another series that captivated me within 1 episodes, yet only delivered half a series. It def. needed more episodes!

3.0 out of 5 stars Dark and almost satisfying January 15, 2012
First off 11 eyes only has japanese audio and english subtitles. This anime is good because some of the characters do become deliciously dark by the end. In the beginning, its mostly happy funny jokes and taking down the bosses though but if you stay with it the last 4 eps are somewhat creepy(which is a good thing in my book). Mostly, though this is an action anime. Each of the kids are given extrtaordinary powers that they use to fight the evil knights with. The whole show has a kind of persona 3 vibe but its slightly darker at the end. I kind of wished it ended at ep 11 because that was a good point to stop it at. Anyways regardless of the ending, this anime really made me laugh and it had a good twist in it that makes it worth watching if you're willing to read all the subtitles
P.S. this is a mature anime with slight nudity and sexual references in it. Also the only real downfall this anime has is that its not that scary. I was hoping for something a lot more twisted the way the summary is written out on the back but overall im satisfied with a one time viewing of this unique film.
