A creative project that exceeded my expectations!, July 30, 2002
This review is from: 11:11 - Stories About the Event (Paperback)
This was an amazing book. It is not just stories. It's about a plan at work in the cosmos that is just beginning to be revealed. I was shocked to learn that thousands of people around the globe are seeing this number and these patterns, and they have been seeing it since the 1980s. What does this mean? The book does not give concrete answers, but it does explore the way this number pattern intersects with the everyday lives of a great diversity of people. Some of the stories are shocking. Some just made me think alot about my own life and what is important to me. If there is some great mystery in the cosmos that is at work, there are profound implicaitons. I believe this book is more about the hidden connections that exist between what we understand to be reality and what may co-exist in alternate dimensions or altered states of consciousness. I can't seem to worry so much about my car and working for a weekly paycheck anymore. Instead I think about my soul and where it fits in to the meaning of life. I cannot recommend this book enough. A friend who was in one of Professor Sargent's classes recommended it to me. It has changed both of our lives. This book is more about people than it is about numbers.

A Provocative Read!, June 15, 2002
This review is from: 11:11 - Stories About the Event (Paperback)
11:11 Stories About the Event ventures outside everyday living where characters meet a darkly fated dimension of time that asserts itself. Although powerful individually, as a collection, these stories demonstrate the complexity of emotional faculty as its characters, whose lives are locked in circumstance, make choices against the lottery of their fate with the numerical sequence, 11:11. It is a provocative read!
