About the Author

Dave Dionisi is the president of the Teach Peace Foundation. He leads peace education programs and acts of kindness in the United States and around the world. Dave's experience includes service as a senior executive with MetLife, DirectAdvice, and New England Financial. Prior to working in corporate America, Dave served the country as an Army Intelligence Officer. His business and military experiences over the last 30 years are complemented by an extensive background as an international volunteer in Asia, Central America, Europe, and Africa. In 2008, Dave was presented with the Martin Luther King Jr. Outstanding International Peace Leader award for his work helping orphans and poor children in West Africa. In 2010, he received the St. Anthony of Padua Parent and Teacher Association Award. In 2013, his work with the disabled resulted in the Mission of Hope for the Disabled Award. In 2014 he was presented with the St. Francis of Assisi Award for founding Liberia Mission. His work in 2014 safeguarding children in Liberia from the Ebola virus resulted in Time Magazine making him a "Person of the Year."

While serving in Korea as an intelligence officer in 1985, Dave began to learn the hidden truth of the atomic bombs dropped in Japan. His research on why the atomic bomb was used resulted in the history-changing book, Atomic Bomb Secrets. In 2015, for the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombs being used in Japan, people around the world were able to learn the atomic bomb truth.
