This microwave heats and defrosts food fine; however it has issues popping popcorn. you really need to watch it closely not to burn it. the popcorn button is not close to being enough time. THe time is close for a mini bag. To not burn popcorn you have to end before the bag is finished leaving many unpopped cornels.
