My son received this for Christmas - he was 16 months old and very interested in drums. He LOVED it. Unfortunately within a week or two he had busted through two drum heads. But he had used his wooden drumsticks instead of the plastic ones it came with. That became a no-no. I fixed them with clear packing tape. But then the tabs that hold the drums started breaking off. These tabs are very small and flimsy. I fixed them with epoxy and they'd hold for another week or so. The symbol broke at the top (glued back on), then at the tab (glued it back on, twice), then it snapped at the base (so-long symbol). Then the piece that holds the foot pedal broke off. The stand for the large tom tom broke but we still use it. Its been about five months since Christmas and he hasn't played it as much in the last couple months, since its been in pieces. But he still loves it, even though there's no symbol, the bass doesn't work and one of the large tom toms won't connect any more. He's still obsessed with drums and will probably get a new set for his birthday this summer.

I can't imagine this lasting very long with a kid older than 2. My son doesn't go rock-and-roll crazy on the thing. But he's also not the most graceful toddler ever...So its a FUN toy but it may not last very long because of the way its made.

This toy is a very cheap stuff, although it is not an inexpensive toy!! It lasted my boy less than a week... The first day: the first drum broke, the second day: the second drum broke, and so on...
Everyday one drum breaks then the chair....etc. My son is only 4-year old, and he is very gentle with his toys usually!

I can't return it, he can't play with it anymore, I just through away my $50.
NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.

This is a good toy for young kids. Hours of enjoyment and easy to assemble. Good start up drum sets for kids that love musical instruments

I bought this drum set for my grandson who will be 3 in August. Needless to say he loves it! Uses it several times a day for extended periods of time. Watch out Americas got talent! CAM JAMS!!!!!!

I brought the 11pc kids boy girl drum set musical instrument toy playset. I wish i could get my money back. This toy is not durable at all. Pieces were breaking off the toy the first day we got it. We purchased this drum set for our son for his 4th birthday. He used it once a day for three days. The large drum skin ripped on the 3rd day.

Don't let the picture fool you. It was not worth the price it cost me 34.00 and 40.00 for shipping. I expected to see a bigger drum set. It was flimsy and the pieces kept falling off. We were so dissapointed with the product! I could have bought a 3 piece drum set great quality for 89.00. that was bigger and better quality.

My 20 month old son was able to do some serious damage to this drumset pretty quick. By the end of the first day most of the parts were broken.

We bought this for our son for his 3rd birthday. 20 mins after receiving it, the first drum head was broken. Then the next day the cymbal had snapped in two. He is a drummer and it was very frustrating that it kept falling apart, breaking and was just a $35 disaster. The toy drums at the Dollar Tree are more durable. Essentially we feel like we threw our money away. He loves playing on spare paint cans and they are much more durable.

My kid loves his new drum set. We have had this for a month and it is still going strong without any problems. Recieved with good packaging, clear instructions, great quality. Assembly took 2 min to do. Glad I purchased it.
