These carpet stair treads do a great job. We purchased them because everyone in the house had fallen down our wooden steps and we knew the falling had to stop before someone broke a bone. These carpet treads stay on the steps extremely well and we feel confident that no one else will be falling down the stairs anytime soon.

These carpets are of very good quality. They are very easy to install... comes with instructions. They look great in color and brightness... actually they added a rich look to my staircase. I strongly recommend only this product if someone is looking to get something better on their staircase for multiple uses like.. skid proof, support for handicaped, least maintenance... easy to remove or reinstall. Get it done without additional labour cost.. only Amazon can help you in this. Good luck

Two months ago, I ordered 2 sets of these for my parents, whose wooden stairs in their new home were bare and slippery. These were the only stair treads online that would fit my parents' stair width (my dad needs to hold onto the railings when he walks up and down the steps, so it was important that the tread width match stair width). The carpet treads arrived quickly and beautifully finished -- no loose ends, irregular sizing, etc. The craftmanship is excellent.

While the velcro and the adhesive strips appeared strong, I ordered a roll of carpet tape just in case; I didn't want to be held responsible for anyone's broken hip. The installation was easy enough for my parents, and they still rave about how these treads made their home so much safer and how many compliments they have received from their neighbors. The velcro strips add padding to the treads, which my parents also found surprisingly comfortable to walk on. Highly, highly recommend.

I researched and looked at a lot of stair treads before settling for this one. They are great value for the price and more importantly can stand up to fairly heavy household traffic. They were easy to attach and are easy to clean and maintain. Great product!

ordered these about 1 month ago. best stair treads ever. Only took me 15 minutes to install 12. very easy to put on, and looks great. Very rich looking. very happy with these. would recommend these to anyone.

I was looking for carpet treads to put on the wooden steps leading up to our 2nd floor. I looked at many options, but settled on this one based on feedback and the double-sided velcro tape option that is already installed. The treads showed up in about a week and a half (I ordered them right around Thanksgiving) in perfect condition. These treads are SUPER EASY to install. Just pull off the plastic strip (2 on each tread) and place them on the stair. The only thing I didn't realize from the picture alone is that they're pretty thin. No fault of the picture, I guess I just thought they would be a little thicker. The velcro strips make these removable if I need to do serious cleaning, but I like these because they're very tightly woven so I know they won't fall apart. The color is ok, definitely brown. All in all, I think this was a very good purchase!

We needed stair treads for an oak staircase and landing that we recently had remodeled. The oak looks great but very slippery! My mini Schnauzer would not go down because he slipped and hit his leg. We bought these because of the great reviews it received. I am very happy I bought these. They not only look great but are quite functional. No slipping or sliding anymore! They also stay in place perfectly without additional adhesive.
