I recently made the switch to these shafts from the beman ics hunter carbons. I absolutely love those arrows they fly very true, have great penetration and all that. The only issue that I have with them is the reason why I made the switch. Since they fly so good when practicing I would shoot groups where the arrows would hit each other which is cool at first and when u start knocking fletchings off it gets annoying after a while. However do that enough times and you start to gouge the arrow shaft making it unusable. Which is why I switched to these. They are 2 gpi heavier than the ics however I shoot heavy so speed was never a factor to begin with. The aluminum coating on these prevent gouging. They penetrate deep and are so far just as accurate up to 30yards. (Can't be sure at farther distances because I haven't been to the long range since the switch) other than that I have only good to say about the product. It arrived promptly, and undamaged. Also it came with everything listed; the chamfer stone, knocks installed, all 12 inserts, a packet of epoxy, and the insert installation tool ( since inserts sit further back into the shaft)

If you haven't hunted with these arrows you are cheating yourself. Yes they are expensive and over the years through trial and error I have learned the hard way you get what you pay for. Shooting these arrows into a target you might not be able to see just how much kinetic energy these things carry. But in a hunting situation you will especially with a mechanical broad head. Now I shoot the 400s it's not a set up for speed, this setup is for putting a deer on the ground and into the freezer. Just give them a try you won't regret it.

The only arrow I shoot. They have great penetration, there thin, reasonably priced, and mean looking. The tips sometimes crack but hey, that's hunting. I shoot a fast bow so wieght is not a factor, the heavier the better.. After shooting 5+ diffrent arrows these are best.

It took four shots to a cinder block with a 325 fps bow before it broke.
