Folks, I had totally forgotten about Mr. Rick Astley. In my surfing Amazon for Music on the Thompson Twins 12-inch Collection, they also displayed a picture of Rick Astley's 12-inch Collection. Songs like "Together Forever," "My arms Keep Missing You" and "It Would Take a Strong, Strong Man" made an impression on me in the 80's. It's a good collection of songs that I purchased for $20/US. Save your money, and get a copy! Four stars!!

Rick Forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,

I first heard Rick Astley at my office in February 1988. I thought it
was Michael McDonald of the Doobie Brothers--their voices are almost identical, deep baritone, smoky. Found out he was from Manchester, England--great another British import, 24 years after the BEATLES(1964) YEAH!!!!!!!!! I saw him on tv in March of 1988 - was blown away, this guy was cute, what else--and could make you faint with his deep sexy voice. In fact, I had the privilage of seeing him in concert in the summer of 1989. Like seeing the Fab Four--fantastic. I brought a friend, by the end of the evening, she was nuts for him, too. Enough said. This guy can sing anything. I hope he doesn't disappear, like he did in the 1990's. His talent is too great to be wasted by not continuing as a performer. His 12-inch vinyls(CD)are a real showcase for his singing abilities. Keep it up, Richard, who knows, maybe your daughter may inherit your singing voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"While most Rick Astley obsessives likely own all of the material he issued during his artistic peak in the late '80s, this special collection of edits, remixes, and extended versions of some of his best-known work is ideal mainly for completists and club DJs only. Granted, lengthy workouts of the Stock, Aitken & Waterman sound are always a joy to listen to, but at 11 tracks in length the sound can get rather tiresome quickly.
