5.0 out of 5 stars An underated talent December 26, 1999
By A Customer
Format:Audio Cassette
Its a shame that when people hear the name Snow, the first thought that pops into theyre head is either Vannila Ice or 1 hit wonder.Because hes neither of those things. This guy does have some talent and this Cd proves it.He could go from soft rhymes to hardcore rhymes without missing a beat, and it takes real talent to do that.Which is more than i can say for 90% of the garbage that MTV plays now.Anyway check this cd out.My personal favorite is Lonely Monday Morning.

5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME ALBUM!!! MUST HAVE!!! August 31, 2003
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Snow is the greatest artist in the world. I love every track on this album. To me it seems like he wrote every song with his heart and not just to complete the CD. I have my favorites on this album. They are 1. Lady With A Red Dress 2. Ease Up 3. Informer 4. Hey, Pretty Love and all the rest are almost as good. This is the only album I have because I don't have money and most stores around here don't have his CD's. His songs are songs that I love to get up and dance to. I try my best to sing along but nope. If your a snow fan then this album should definitely be in your collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Please Listen November 13, 2002
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
First off, Snow does not try to copy Vanilla Ice. Snow was given the name by MC Shan. If you know anything about him, it stands for Superb.Notorious.Outrageous.Whiteboy. So don't try to compare him with Vanilla Ice just because you think the names are similar!

Second, as far as him singing the lyrics "dibby-dibby", you should also know that it is not Snow that sings those lyrics. If you would have seen the video for Informer, you would have have noticed that. While Snow was in prison, the lyrics were added to it. He didn't know until after he got out and the single was already in circulation.

Now for the review. . . This CD has some of the best influential reggae stylings of that time. Because of Snow, the door was blown wide open for alot of other Reggae artists to make it to the main stream. It's got a good old "hip-hop, reggae, jazzy, kinda funky" feel to it! Snow was definitely ahead of his time. If you want a great CD to jam out to, this is the one to get!

Snow deserves more respect than he is given. He was a "one hit wonder" in the States but he was and still is a respected artist in Canada, Japan, and the Tropics. Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars One-Hit Wonder Syndrome, Part 1
Snow is the Vanilla Ice of reggae, in which his music is all dressed up for pop culture. He also resembles Rick Astley in a way too, in which you would never known that he was... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Not terrible but not good either - this remains an "ok" reggae album
The only song people know by Snow (that is, *if* they even know who recorded it) is his hit single "Informer" from the early 90's. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Snow is GR8
People dislike SNOW because they think he is a wannabe. I think it is just jealousy. You try adapting R&B and reggae and pop all into 1 style. I think his music is ingenious. Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars 12 inches of bullsh*t
"Snow" is a joke. First of all, he pretends to be a big black Jamacian, but he's actually pure whitebread. Snow, your photo on the cover of the album tipped us off, buddy. Read more
