But I thought this book was about disco???,

If you are looking for a great book with pictures of classic disco records and a celebration of the lifestyle and artwork evocative of the late Seventies classic disco years, well then....this book is NOT what you are looking for!
If you are looking for a haphazard collection of photos from some Spanish guy's record crates with somewhat questionable taste in bland 90's dance music then you've come to the right place!! Nothing in this book is remotely disco, it soley consists of pictures of 12" record covers, mostly from the 90's. To top it off, many of the images seem to be scanned directly from the covers, complete with wear and tear on some of them. If this was on rare disco gems I'd be forgiving, but I mean these are for the most part awful dance drek like 'Betty Boo' and the like. There was a nice Deee-Lite cover, but I own the record anyway. So buyer beware, save your dollars and buy some authentic disco material. |
