Patricia O'Gorman, Ph.D., is noted for her work in the Child Welfare and Substance Abuse Fields, where she has held national and statewide positions. She has previously held the position of Director of the Division of Prevention of the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, Founding Director, National Council on Alcoholism's Department of Prevention and Education, and a co-founder of the National Association for Children of Alcoholics. Currently she is the Chief Psychologist at Berkshire Farm Center, a licensed psychologist in East Chatham, N.Y., and a noted national and international lecturer and consultant, known for her warm, funny and information-packed seminars.
Philip Oliver-Diaz, M.S.W., is an author, columnist, and clinician and pioneer in his work with Adult Children of Alcoholics. He is a co-founder with Patricia O'Gorman of the National Association for Children of Alcoholics.
