I live in South Florida and have a large awning in my side yard. The tarp that had been tied over the awning when I bought the house was destroyed in Hurrican Wilma, and I bought this to replace it.
It was destroyed within two months. The grommets were ripped out at one corner, and the stitching that had kept them in then unravelled. I understand that mine is a rather heavy duty job for a tarp, as the winds lift the tarp as they whip through the awning, but that's why I wanted heavy duty, which again is how this was advertised. I have purchased a canvas tarp to try to solve the problem. Item was as described otherwise and arrived promptly. |
