Very very funny...,

...and well done musically by folks who can actually play and sing. I love satire, and satire expertly set to music (styles ranging from opera to rap) is even better. And if you're from Naw'lins you'll probably enjoy it even more than I did. Can't go wrong.

To enjoy this comical CD, You would either have had to grow up in the New Orleans area or realy get into our customs to understand such songs as "Christmas in Chalmette". If you are a born and raised Chalmation (like me), or you just love New Orleans' culture. You will love this CD. The songs on the "12 Yats of Christmas" are a local tradition around the holiday season and is played on the radio at the same time. You will laugh at the song parodies as well as their original songs. The 12 Yats of Christmas is funny from begining to end.

I would recommend this CD to anyone who wants to know that the real New Orleans is about. Many of the songs are funny even if you weren't from there.
For anyone from New Orleans, this CD is required. The NOPD is searching houses, so you'd better have yours. |
