5.0 out of 5 stars Omigoodness, these sheets are amazing!
It was time for new bed linens and I really wanted quality, but the cost of premium, high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets was more than I cared to afford.

Then I found these sheets. Although my original intention was to buy several new sets, I cautiously decided to buy just one of these sets to try them out, because let's face it: a 1,200 thread count,...

1.0 out of 5 stars Scam
"Egyptian Cotton 1200 Thread Count Luxury Solid Sheet Set" I got these sheets and I'll tell you it's a scam. I based my purchase off of the other reviews on Amazon. 1.0 out of 5 stars Scam, December 28, 2009

"Egyptian Cotton 1200 Thread Count Luxury Solid Sheet Set" I got these sheets and I'll tell you it's a scam. I based my purchase off of the other reviews on Amazon. First of all there is no way these sheets are 1200ct because they are PAPER THIN (as in you can see right through them). They are also scratchy. The sheets came with a label that looked as if it was printed in some back alley. My biggest disappointment is not in the sheets but in the people who wrote the other reviews; I think the reviews are fakes like the sheets. I'm not being over critical; I just telling you these sheets are a lie, this is a scam, and you will hate them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not That Great, January 1, 2010

I have had 850 and 1000 thread count sheets before and these seemed a little rough at first. But after a few washings they are very rough worse then some cheap 250 thread count sheets I have in the RV! I would keep looking foe another brand, very disappointed with these sheets.

1.0 out of 5 stars Agreed, scam, January 29, 2010

These sheets are nothing special. I'm sure the 1200 thread count claim is false. Agree with previous reviewer, other reviews most likely fake.

1.0 out of 5 stars No Such Thing, September 7, 2010
There is no such thing as as 1200 thread count. When they are using this ploy they are counting the "ply" in the yarn (the twisted threads that make up the yarn) and counting the thread in both directions (warp and weft). Honest manufacturers count only one direction (150 is excellent), fairly honest manufacturers count both directions (ie., 300 count) and scam artists count everything they can. 250 2-ply yarn is then advertised as 1000 thread count. NOT the industry standard.

Higher thread count does not necessarily mean more comfort. They can get kind of stiff, bulky and wrinkle and can be very hot in the summer. Get the sheet you like, not what the advertisers are telling you you should like.

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolute FRAUD, November 25, 2010

This review is from: 1200-Thread-Count Egyptian Comfort 4PC 1200TC Bed Sheet Set, King, Ivory Solid (Kitchen)
I purchased these sheets AFTER purchasing 1200 Thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets from a different online company three years ago. I was so blown away by the first set of sheets I bought that I wanted another set and found these. I got them delivered and was excited and removed them from the packaging and was concerned because they felt very grainy like 300 count sheets you get at the discount super stores.. I read the instructions for washing but am very familiar with care from my previous set. Finished washing and took them out of the dryer and again was very concerned with the softness. I put them on my King and slept on them and was blown away how grainy and sandy these felt - honestly like cheap 300 count sheets.... Washed them a couple more times and the same.. Nothing changed - I seriously doubt the authenticity of these sheets - There is NO WAY these could be 1200 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets.... NO WAY!!

1.0 out of 5 stars VERY Unhappy!, May 10, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought these sheets a while ago and kept hoping they would improve with washing. They have only gotten worse! There is no way these sheets are as advertised. Unlike one of the other reviewers who complained how thin they were, mine are too thick. They seem very industrial. They are scratchy, and they are not wearing well. They feel like they are not all cotton, much less a high thread count. I guess my dad was right, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!"

1.0 out of 5 stars false advertising, April 9, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I too was looking for egyptian cotton sheets, saw this, read the reviews and thought great!!! good price, sounded good.
WELL I was wrong. I got these the other day, they are FAR from cotton. not even close to what I ordered.!!! I am totally disappointed in these. The company said they are microfiber. The problem is you can see right through them!! The first wash and they would probably fall apart. Do not order these!! If you look at the pictures, the packaging even says egyptian cotton!!

2.0 out of 5 stars They say it best, June 4, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased this product, and guess what it says "Not JS Sanders - Beware if seller sends you JS Sanders or Egyptian Comfort brand"... and i got JS Sanders :) go figure. They are still thick sheets, but not worth the price IMO.

if you get the cheap set(and for this price you probally will), You will get 100% Microfiber. Which is NOT egyptian cotton. They say on the packaging "compare the softness AS" in small lettering, and "100% egyptian cotton" in big bold letters.

In my opinion the AS was intentional, so people will think it was just a typo and was was suppose to say of 100% egyptian.

On the back of the packaging they say it's microfiber(in small print).

1.0 out of 5 stars unfortunate scam, July 10, 2011
i bought these sheets (unfortunately)at a street fair, took them home and then found out that they are not egyptian cotton. and they are not 1200 thread count either. its all in the name that fooled me. its egyptian "comfort" sheets. the 1200 "series". i bought a 6 piece set for 20 bucks...that should have told me something right there! some places on line are selling these sets for over 150 dollars!...please dont buy these. if you know good bed sheets you will surely be disappointed in this, what i think is,super thin nylon product .

1.0 out of 5 stars Ridiculous a scam save your time and money, January 14, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Will be returning these ASAP. So thin you can see through them. These sheets felt and looked like 200 count sheets. Not happy at all will not even try to wash them thinking they will not last if washed more then twice.Do not purchase save your money and time.
