I love the illustrations in this book- they are dynamic and captivating. It's a refreshing change from the other counting books that are out there. My daughter is learning about New York while practicing counting, which is an added benefit. It's also great that the descriptions in the back of the book of the symbols chosen to represent New York are written in English and Spanish. I was very impressed with this book, and my daughter loves it!

My out of town nieces and nephews think its so cool to have this book with famous New York landmarks. And my son loves to point out the buildings from the book when we see them for real. Its great to watch them learn about my favorite city without even realizing that they're learning!

I was so excited when I found these books! They are perfect for my little nephew and when my 4 month old gets older, they will definitely be a part of his library. The illustrations are amazing and we are learning a new language as well! I hope they do all of the states. Nice layout too!
Sounds Funny is great too. These are a must have for all kids learning how to count and about sounds!

My 14-month-old just recently got really interested in this book and doesn't want to put it down. He grabs it off his bookshelf and has me read it to him several times a day, several times in a row. As soon as it's finished, he takes it and hands it right back to me! I think he's really drawn to the colors of the illustrations, and I love that he's learning about all things New York. Definitely a creative way to teach counting and numbers. I've bought this book several times as either baby gifts or first-birthday presents for other New York friends and it's always a hit.
