This is the song from the new iPod nano commercial. Great tune at a great price without any DRM hassel.

"Oh, the irony" is right! Haha, I couldn't stop laughing when I discovered this song on Amazon's new music store. What a great alternative to Apple's iTunes!
Two quick notes: 1. This song is great (I always gotta give Apple credit for finding new, fresh artists) 2. Death to DRM and kudos to Amazon for realizing this sooner rather than later. Smart move!

The Nano Song,

Yes, I got the song after watching the Nano ad. It's good, but I think the ad showed the best part of it; the first 30 seconds. After that, it didn't quite reach the high of the first part. Fun song, though.

What a sad commentary on the state of American radio that tv commercials do a beter job breaking new music than radio staions these days. Um, maybe they need more consultants--NOT. (BTW "My Moon My Man" is a better Feist song IMO.)

It's the music that counts,

Feist's "1234" is a delightful little ditty. Feist wasn't that famous (except among the indie set with Broken Social Scene&"Let it die") until the iPod ad gave her a tremendous boost. Her success shows that independent artists CAN take on the usual prefab pop tarts. "1234" is a joyful, simple song (her music video transforms it into a psychedelic musical that seems to cross Sgt. Pepper's with Broadway) It makes love simple-and it's the thought that COUNTS!
Feist has grown as an artist. Going solo from Broken Social Scene, she hasn't become self-indulgent. She's a lot like the Australian/UK diva Sia,who has gone solo from Zero 7. I like Feist, but I think Sia is even better. If you like "1234",go join Sia on her "Playground" and enjoy some "Beautiful Calm Driving"!

A real song with a real story,

Feist fans were mostly shocked to see her dancing in sequins in a national advertisement. It's hard not to associate the song with the ad, but on its own merits this stands out as a classic. The story of the song is on Songfacts: It was written by Australian singer/songwriter Sally Seltmann, who always felt it was a Feist song and gave it to her. The lyrics are meaningful in many ways, and there's something divine about how Feist ended up singing it to us in blue sequins.

Thank you, Feist, for an old fashioned sing along pop tune. An update on a '50's girl group catchy ballad. Love this.

This is a song for all generations, young old, 70's, 80's, 90's and now, all of them love/will love this song. I don't know what it is about this song, but it captures attention, captivates, and makes you like the song like it's no one's business. What's even more amazing is the fact that this song is by a little known independent artist, and owes its success to a commercial. Feist also does an amazing job with the catchiness of the whole thing. In fact, it's amazing why nobody wrote this before; I mean it's so simple with lyrics like, "1, 2, 3, 4/ tell me that you love me more/ sleepless long nights." One thing is for sure, you won't be able to get it out of your head.
Overall, a simple song about teen love; nothing complex here. This song is one of the most enjoyable songs of 2007. If you haven't heard it, buy it. You'll love it.

Have you ever heard of a song that you didn't really care for that much, and then you see the video and you think the song is genius?
Well, that is my feeling towards 1234 by Feist. Its upbeat and catchy, but one that doesn't stand out enough from a crowd, until you see the video. Funny that this is the #1 song here as of 09/27/2007, and its the song on the new Apple Nano commercial.
