5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of power in small package
I love this little battery so much, I bought two of them to double my trolling time. The easy recharge on 110V is what the occasional fishing nut needs.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not an appropriate battery for a trolling motor.
This is NOT what you want! This battery is recommended as appropriate for a trolling motor. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to get stranded or have a paddle on-board. The battery is fine but just doesn't have the staying power you'll need to stay out all day. It's easy to find a 12v tractor battery that has 3 to 4 times the capacity of this offering and will...

This is NOT what you want! This battery is recommended as appropriate for a trolling motor. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to get stranded or have a paddle on-board. The battery is fine but just doesn't have the staying power you'll need to stay out all day. It's easy to find a 12v tractor battery that has 3 to 4 times the capacity of this offering and will cost you under $40.00. Get a 12v 2amp charger for it with an auto/ shut-off... and you'll be set for a long, long time. I''ve tested it and taken my own advice. I'll be returning this purchase... which happens very infrequently. Hope this is a help.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not enough Amps for Endura 30 trolling motor, July 2, 2008

I purchased this Battery and charger to go with my Sevylor HF350 Inflatable boat and Minn Kota 30 trolling motor. They were listed on Amazon as compatible items.
When I received the trolling motor in the mail, it read that it should be used with at least a 105 Amp Hour Battery! The Minn Kota 30 motor requires 30 amps to operate at its highest speed. This battery is only a 7 - 8 amp hour battery! Which means it will be out of juice in less than 15 minutes if the trolling motor is operated at full speed.
I found a 35 amp hour marine battery at a local battery store for $68. I should be able to get one full hour of power at high speed and will soon be returning this battery back to the seller!!

Had same problem with this purchase as others as this battery is under powered to run any of the Minn Kota brand trolling motors.Do not purchase this if you intend to use this on anything other than the smallest Seylor trolling motor. It is not rated to even power the Seylor 30 lb thrust trolling motor.Had to return this to the seller after much email aggravation.
