Totally Underrated,
This review is from: 13 Halloweens (Audio CD)
These gentlemen are the most underrated act that I know of in rock. You hear nothing about them, they're not big though they've been around for a few years, and they crank out incredibly fun, high energy, and polished songs that you would expect out of a cross between AFI, The Offspring and the Misfits if either of them were still worth a damn. Not to mention these guys look like the most stylish band of switchblade-toting 50's greasers you've ever seen. There may not be a bad song on this disc, if you like early misfits and no frills harmonic darkness with an edge, you are undoubtedly going to feel this. If I had a record label i would push these guys so hard it would wipe that poppy sell out Davey Havoc right off the f---ing map.

For those of you that just can't get enough of the Misfits or Tiger Army or any of the other amazing horror based groups out there, this is THE album you must hear. Calabrese puts it together like it should be, zombies, hearses, and a bucket of blood. 13 Halloweens should be on the shelves of every music store in America. Truly amazing work.J. Allen Wretched

An Incredible Debut From the New Face of Horror Punk/Rock!!!,

This review is from: 13 Halloweens (Audio CD)
This is an incredible debut album from the best modern horror punk band. This album is just so much fun, and it never gets old, and like one of the reviewers said they have found their niche in a genre full of copy-cats. The vocals are great, the lyrics are cool, Davey's drums and Jimmy's bass are great, and Bobby's guitar is very good. Bobby and Jimmy's vocals are so cool, they have great melody, but they can also sound really dark and evil, like the greatest of all, evil-Elvis Glenn Danzig could. One of Us really shows their darker more evil sound. While, Every Day is a Funeral shows their more melodic sound. Highlights of the album are everything as far as I am concerned, play this whole album through and you will love each and every track, like I do. My favorite song would probably have to be Blood in my Eyes, which is a really cool punk song, reminicent of old-school AFI, with awesome lyrics, especially the chorus. Check it out! If you love horror punk/rock you must buy this album, you will not be disappointed!
