First of all, these things arrived falling apart. The quality is terrible, and they are a bit too wide to fit in the stock battery carriage of Blade MCX helicopters. You have to trim away some excess casing, and even then it is a tight squeeze.

At first, I thought these lasted a bit longer than the eflite 110s, but in a head-to-head test they do not last as long. I hovered two helicopters side by side, one with the eflight 110 mAh, one with the Tenergy 130 mAh, then swapped batts into opposite helicopters and did the test again. Several trials. Same result every time, the 130mAh-rated batteries quit first. They also take noticeably take less time to charge and are harder to pull out of the MCX battery charger due to shorter length.

Shorter + charge faster + shorter flying time = lower capacity than 110 MAh.

Avoid these batteries unless you are looking for a cheaply made, lower capacity battery. They are not necessarily a bad deal for the price, after some super-gluing and trimming out of the box. I'd estimate they are 100-105mAh using the eflite 110 as a yardstick.

Update: 3 weeks of light use and both of these have died.

1.0 out of 5 stars NOT FOR BLADE MCX s300 RTF Helicopter!, December 18, 2009

I purchased a twinpack of these LiPo Batteries for my Blade MCX s300 RTF RC Helicopter. Unlike the original batteries from e-Flite using 3.7V 110mAh LiPo's, the TENERGY LiPo's are TOO WIDE to fit into the battery carriage underneath the Blade MCX s300 RTF.

In addition, these batteries are much shorter than the standard length LiPo batteries from e-Flite for the Blade MCX. As a result, the TENERGY LiPo's have a length of tape-like material extending off the back-end so that you can still be able to pull them out of your battery charger. Again, that is where the extra width causes problems. The battery is too fat to fit into the charger as well!

Avoid the TENERGY LiPo and buy the e-Flite 3.7V 110mAh LiPo. The e-Flite battery is a superior product.

These batteries do not fit in the Blade MCX heli's as advertised, they are a hair too wide and the tab interferes with the motors. Both batteries arrived falling apart. The black housing supporting the plug fell off inside the packaging before I even opened them. After some gluing and trimming I am able to squeeze them in, and the performance is as advertised. Unfortunately they are so poorly constructed I may not be able to use them for very long. Spend the extra money and buy a better set. These were a waste.

1.0 out of 5 stars Battery for VAPOR RC plane, March 21, 2009

These batteries work GREAT for me so far--last a LONG time, charge just like the original manufacturer's batteries. A little bit fatter. Very long-lasting (nearly twice the amps of the originals) and a good deal for 2 batteries!! I use them in both the Vapor RC plane and the Blade MCX micro helicopter with great success. I put a small piece of electrical tape around the battery and the battery-holder to keep them in place better on the Vapor plane.

***UPDATE: The battery cells seem good, but the connectors however are now bending, hard to connect to plane. Two of them are now unusable. I do not have this problem with the Parkzone-supplied battery packs or other brands.

***SECOND UPDATE: These batteries are NOT very good!!! Initially the cells seem good, but after several charges they lose more life than the originals (even at lesser-rated mAh's) -- and i honestly do not believe Tenergy's rated mAh on these either. The MAIN problem i have had is with the connectors however, they don't fit in place as well or seat in the chargers well or at all. The connector has literally fallen off 2 of the ones i have. The others won't charge correctly, or maintain amp ratings after charge. In this instance, i believe you get what you pay for. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND these batteries at all.

As so many others reviewers have stated this DOES NOT fit the MCX S300 helicopter. Instead get the E-flite batteries you will end up saving money and won't be disappointed as I was.

These Tenergy batteries are GARBAGE. I ordered 2 of them, and they both broke the very first time I used them... the black ends break right off immediately! Also, they do not fit correctly into the mCX or the mSR. One of them broke when I attempted to remove it from the charger! It falls apart like there is butter connecting the ends together! AVOID! I shall NEVER buy ANYTHING from Tenergy E V E R

2.0 out of 5 stars Does not fit eFlite mCX Helicopters, December 25, 2009

I bought these for use in an e-Flite Blade mCX helicopter as they are advertised for such use. However, the two units I received do NOT fit my helicopter: they are slightly too wide to fit into the undercarriage's battery holder without forcing them in and forcing back out. As the undercarriage is fragile, this is not a Good Thing. And no, the batteries are not swollen -- a bad sign with rechargeable batteries. Instead they are just a tad too wide.

Also, the end cap had fallen off of one of the batteries before I had received it.

I'm figuring that the quality control is not as tight as it should be and the manufacturer is producing units slightly too wide. As such, your mileage may vary: you may get batteries which fit and you may not.

These batteries are horrible; they fall short from the advertised C rating and capacity.
Avoid at all costs, horrible quality.

I bought a 2 pack of these Tenergy 130 mah batteries with my first MCX S300.I paid $12.99 here. They worked well for the first 3 charges and then although they would take over 30 min to charge, one would not even lift the heli off the ground. My 2 Eflite 110 and 120 batteries work just fine.

And, like others have said they do not fit well and I did need to glue the receptacle back on to the battery since it became loose. Even if they are relatively cheap, they are not worth the money.
I am going to buy the Eflite 150's for extended flight.

No more Tenergy!!!

I think that Amazon should remove this product from its inventory since I do like to shop here and don't want to buy junk at any price.

This review is from: 2 Pack 3.7V 130mAh LIPO for Blade MCX, Parkzone Vapor, Cessna helicopters (Toy)
I bought these as spares for our Blade mSR and MCX S300. As other reviewers have noted, they are a bit fatter than stock batteries, but some trimming made them fit. They don't last as long as the E-Flite 110-120mv batteries (I fly with a timer), and after 2-weeks, one died completely. I rarely hit the low-voltage cut-off, and I never run past that: out of the seven batteries I use (five E-Flite and this pair of Tenergys), the Tenergy is the only one that's failed. The other one of the pair is fine, but definitely doesn't seem like it has more juice than the lower-rated E-Flite cells. The Tenergy cells are a lot cheaper (even with one failure, they're, still a few bucks cheaper per cell than E-Flite batteries) but don't instill confidence. I will avoid them in the future.
